    Description

    Surgery - Neurosurgery Physician

    Join Curative for a unique opportunity in Missouri, where you can maintain clinical excellence while enjoying significant time off between scheduled rotations.

    • This role is open to IMLC Physicians with an active Letter of Qualification and provides consistent ongoing need through the end of the year.
    • We offer travel and lodging accommodations, as well as malpractice insurance. You will work at an inpatient medical center with adult and pediatric patient populations, supported by dedicated RN assistance.

    As a Neurosurgery Physician, you will be responsible for general inpatient neurological surgery cases. This assignment includes call-only coverage with blocks that can be chosen based on your schedule. The response time required is 30 minutes, although rare admissions are expected from the ED due to primary consultant duties.

    • A minimum of 12 months post-residency experience is required, along with an active Missouri license or IMLC eligibility. Board Certification in Neurological Surgery and Current ATLS certification are also necessary qualifications.
      This position involves providing phone consults during each shift (approximately 6-18 per shift), occasionally resulting in surgical interventions (with a 50% callback rate) leading to average hospital admissions ranging from one to two patients per rotation.
