    As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) joining our PACU team at our downtown Fresno campus, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team that provides opportunities to challenge and inspire you daily. With an average of over 26,000 surgical cases per year systemwide and a vast diversity of cases, patients range from moderate to high acuity, including trauma, burn, neurosurgery and more You will learn from multiple disciplines, expand your career, and develop close relationships with your team, all while making a difference in the lives of thousands and advancing healthcare in the Valley

    Education & Experience

    • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
    • Completion of an accredited Vocational Nursing School program OR become licensed by equivalency required
    • 2 years of experience as an acute License Vocational Nurse highly preferred

    Licenses and Certifications

    • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Current Basic Arrhythmia or must obtain the Basic Arrhythmia certification within 6 month of hire or transfer into the job
    • LVN - Current State of California Licensed Vocational Nurse License required
    • LVNIVTX - IV Therapy Certification (LVN) required
