Description

The Director of Distribution is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, retrieval and dispatch of goods. Ensures compliance with health and safety standards, security of the building and stock, and optimal arrangement of goods within the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager oversees the productivity and performance of the warehouse staff, and provides training and guidance as needed. You also will assist with customer service, order processing, inventory control, and returns management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily processing of all purchase orders and stock purchase orders
• Ensure timely and accurate warehousing and disbursement of products to the picking line and shipment to customers
• Manage the receiving, inventory control and returns department, and monitor the Direct and True Bins for proper inventory and order completion
• Assist with expediting customer service orders and resolving any shipment or returns issues
• Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow and resolve problems
• Enforce proper use and maintenance of any warehouse equipment
• Ensure proper delivery and pickup of inventory using appropriate shipping sources
• Ensure adequate staffing and cleanliness of the warehouse at all times
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to meet productivity targets

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain Related Field
• 2 to 5 years of warehouse management experience
• Proficiency with various WMS platforms
