    Description

    Job Summary: The construction project engineer is responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
    2. Budget Management: Assist in budget development and tracking expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget constraints.
    3. Procurement and Material Management: Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
    4. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet industry standards and client requirements. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
    5. Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and administration of construction contracts. Review contract documents, change orders, and other legal documents related to the project.
    6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the construction process. Proactively address safety concerns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
    7. Communication and Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Facilitate regular meetings and communication to keep all parties informed of project progress and updates.
    8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence. Generate regular reports on project status, budgetary performance, and other key metrics.
    9. Problem Solving: Anticipate and address challenges that may arise during construction projects, such as delays, design changes, or conflicts among stakeholders. Develop creative solutions to keep projects on track and minimize disruptions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field.
    • Previous experience in construction project management or engineering role preferred.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and best practices.

    Salary Range up to $80K
