- Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and deadlines.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget development and tracking expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget constraints.
- Procurement and Material Management: Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment required for construction projects. Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure construction projects meet industry standards and client requirements. Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
- Contract Administration: Assist in the preparation and administration of construction contracts. Review contract documents, change orders, and other legal documents related to the project.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the construction process. Proactively address safety concerns and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as a primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Facilitate regular meetings and communication to keep all parties informed of project progress and updates.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence. Generate regular reports on project status, budgetary performance, and other key metrics.
- Problem Solving: Anticipate and address challenges that may arise during construction projects, such as delays, design changes, or conflicts among stakeholders. Develop creative solutions to keep projects on track and minimize disruptions.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, or related field.
- Previous experience in construction project management or engineering role preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, codes, and best practices.
