    The Support Representative (Medical Collections) handles a workload of around 700-800 requests from collectors and billers, involving tasks such as sending appeals, medical records, and patient communications to payers and patients. Supporting over 900 collectors and billers, both onshore and offshore, this role manages requests through a task system and places requested documents in a shared space. Responsibilities include opening accounts in the task system, reviewing requests, handling documents, ensuring HIPAA compliance, printing necessary documents via a shared or high-volume printer, including UB04's, 1500's on a red and white form, as well as Medi-Cal CIF, LTC, and appeal forms.

    The team member is responsible for document preparation, task completion via the system, and mailing the documents, utilizing electronic certified mail when required.

    This full-time position spans Monday to Friday, with flexible 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding holidays. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on business requirements.

    We offer 6 weeks of comprehensive paid training. Training hours are scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Arizona Time, Monday to Friday.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Receive and review all correspondence daily.
    • Follow up on assigned insurance accounts.
    • Assist hospital employees with any emerging needs.
    • We are seeking a candidate with strong communication skills, deadline orientation, self-motivation, excellent follow-up, and customer service aptitude.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • 6+ months of experience in Medical Collections.
    • 6+ months of experience in Direct healthcare data collection.
    • 6+ months of exposure to data acquisition and management for project support.
    • Basic proficiency in Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work on-site at 1 East Washington, Suite 900, Phoenix, Arizona.
    • Ability to work flexible 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, excluding holidays, with occasional overtime required based on business needs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Background in a medical/healthcare environment.
