    Position Description

    Summers-Taylor, Inc. is currently searching for a Bridge Foreman to grow our Heavy Highway Bridge Division. The Bridge Foreman will oversee the daily operations on assigned project(s) and is directly responsible for personnel and equipment under his / her supervision.

    Job Duties:

    • Ensure safety of crew and public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and procedures.
    • Coordinate with superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers.
    • Assist in laborer job duties when necessary (Pour and finish concrete, loading and unloading of materials, set and tie steel, etc.).
    • Accurate record keeping of equipment and labor.
    • Ensure Summers-Taylor, Inc. standards are followed.
    • Conducts weekly ToolBox talks and daily safety briefings.
    • Develop employees.
    • Track production.

    Position Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Prior knowledge and experience in heavy highway bridge work required.
    • Heavy Highway / Civil Construction Background preferred.
    • Ability to read construction plans.
    • Ability to maintain healthy relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and crew.
    • Must have a flexible work schedule when necessary.
    • Must have basic computer skills. (Emails, Timecards, etc.)
