    Enthusiastically supports the Credit Union's focus on member sales and service by actively mentoring and overseeing the Accounting and Finance Teams to ensure they are completing daily operations to ensure the internal and external members needs are met.

    Assists with financial, statistical, and accounting records of the Credit Union while ensuring accounting functions are completed in accordance with established Credit Union procedures and generally accepted accounting principles, as well as any other applicable regulations.

    Works with auditors and examiners on financial and internal audits.
    Stays informed of developments in the accounting field and changing governmental and legal requirements.
    Produce informed business decisions by analyzing financial data and developing strategies to recommend to leadership.

    Assumes responsibility for profit model report outputs, and related strategies, including Organizational and Product Profitability, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk (Asset Liability Management).Actively work in the development of the annual budget.

    Develop growth and income projections for line items, products, and business units.
    Active in investment portfolio management.

    Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relations with Credit Union team members and with management.

    Promotes and exceeds the Credit Union's service values and standards of a world class experience for members.
    Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Requirements:

    Qualifications:
    At least five years of similar or related experience.
    Bachelor's degree or formal certifications equivalent to a Bachelor's DegreePrior Management experience requiredStrong computer skills including the Microsoft Suite.
    Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
    Effective communication skills, written and oral.
    Ability to interact with others on a regular basis and build relationships.
    Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
    The ideal candidate must have strong availability Monday
    • Friday until 5:30pm.
    Opening is in Battle Creek Michigan.
