Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop innovative solutions to enable firm consumption of cloud resources.
Develop custom solutions and integrate COTS tools to help firm staff and clients securely deliver cloud solutions.
Recommend tools and capabilities based on your research and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid architectures.
Work with our engineering and architecture teams to inform cloud strategy and design.
Lead complex design engineering assignments reflecting a foundation in industry standard best practices.
Conduct technical reviews of software and systems design and provide system and security recommendations.
This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualification Requirements:

Experience using AWS to design and deploy architectures and applications.
Experience in operations and maintenance of infrastructure and applications in AWS.
Experience using CLI interfaces to manage and configure cloud platforms at scale.
Experience with Linux (RHEL7.9).
Knowledge of cloud security, auditing, and network boundary controls.

Additional Qualifications Desired:

Experience developing with Python.
Experience using Configuration Management and Configuration Orchestration tools, including Ansible.
Experience working within customer requirements and advising customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards.
Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes, preferably on AWS.
Ability to build infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation and develop scripts for future reuse and environment automation efforts.

Required Experience: 4+ years' AWS experience relevant to the job duties described.

Required Certification:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Sysops

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience (+2 years).

Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
