Description
The job role:- Provide support for Medical Affairs (MA) projects regionally.
- Engage team members to gather project concerns and ideas for enhancement.
- Meet with MA Regional Head and Country Medical Leads to provide project status updates.
- Support Manager by handling inquiries to keep projects on track.
- Contribute to strategic planning and monitor regional medical plans.
- Track Americas MA Project and Programs budgets to ensure spending is controlled.
- Collaborate with Finance Business partners for reporting and forecasting alignment.
- Assist in developing the 5-year budget plan by identifying risks and opportunities.
- Maintain a detailed tracker for external Americas MA activities.
- Partner with Legal and Procurement for agreement development.
- Manage procurement processes and vendor payments.
- Work with Global Operations Manager for internal review and payment processes.
- Ensure regional MA compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to harmonize processes.
- Partner with training administrators for role-based training.
- Collaborate with Transparency Reporting Manager for tracking HCP engagement activities.
- Collect and archive medical program documents for future audits.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Preferably a degree in nursing, pharmacy, or an advanced degree in science/medicine.
- Educational background in infectious disease, vaccinology, or public health is ideal.
- 5+ years' pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience in Medical Affairs or Research and Clinical Development is a plus.
- Expertise in scientific writing, publications, data generation, and influenza specialty.
- Prior experience as a Publications Manager in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
