    Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor at The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation

    RNs that work with The Oncology Institute receive specialized new hire training and have tremendous opportunity for growth.

    The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor duties include:
    Practices within the RN scope
    Reports directly to the Director of Nursing
    Responsible for conducting training for Registered and Licensed Vocational Nurses
    Conducts weekly

    educational/structured

    staff meetings
    Assess staff performance, completes annual reviews
    Accountable for the overall day to day infusion operations
    Travels frequently to assigned sites to conduct safety and operational inspections
    Demonstrates the knowledge and skill to carry out the nursing process when providing patient care.
    Interacts and collaborates effectively with operational management
    Manage Staff schedules, call-outs, ratios
    Manage disciplinary conduct issues
    Satisfies the established standards of the nursing practice.
    Supervises and delegates patient care tasks to RN/ LVN and other patient care team members.
    Promotes teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments.
    Perform other duties as assigned

    Education and/or Experience:
    Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
    Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
    One year of RN Supervisor experience
    Oncology experience preferred

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    A Registered Nurse who is currently licensed to practice, in good standing, in the state of service (CA)

    ONS
    Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy

    Certification Required within 3 months upon hire
    OCN preferred but not required
    Must maintain current BLS certification throughout employment.
    BLS certification is required upon hire.
    ACLS preferred but not required

    Job Type:
    Full-time
