    Description


    Position OverviewReporting to a Director of FP&A, this position will be responsible for providing financial and operational analysis for business units of BradyPLUS.

    The position will partner with Sales, Category Management, Operations, Strategy, Human Resources, Logistics and/or other Senior management.

    The role requires a highly motivated, and results oriented individual, with a background in both financial planning and analysis as well as financial accounting.

    The individual must also possess strong analytical skills, have the ability to work independently, be comfortable with ambiguity, and use data-driven analysis to draw actionable insights and influence decision-makers.


    Responsibilities Include:


    Provide proactive analytics and reporting including identification of sales and margin trends, key monthly financial drivers, customer and business unit profitability analysis and other special projects to improve operational and financial performance.

    Prepare information for monthly Senior Leadership meetings, and quarterly business unit reviews.

    Assists in preparation of special studies, analyses and recommendations in areas such as forecasts, financial plans, variance analysis, and customer and or product profitability.

    Assist in the forecasting and annual business planning (budgeting) process by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data and recommending plans.

    Creates and maintains detailed budgeting templates.
    Help the organization track and achieve budget objectives by analyzing expenditures, operating variances and key trends.
    Perform ad hoc analysis to support business partners.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.

    CPA or MBA, a plus.3-5 years of prior FP&A experienceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial analysis, financial modeling, and profitability analysisAdvanced level skill in Microsoft Excel is required (for example: using VLOOKUP function, conditional formatting, creating pivot tables, developing charts and changing styles, using groups, sorting/filtering).

    Experience with writing macros, a plus.

    Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example:
    using a slide master template, formatting, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers).

    Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example:

    inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).Outstanding communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

    Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, multi-task and follow through on completion of high-profile projects.
