Presbyterian is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for filling medication orders, pre-packaging,


Responsibilities

  • Filling medication orders for inpatient and outpatient areas of the facility
  • Use of pharmacy technology Pyxis Pharmogistics CII safe
  • Non-sterile compounding labeling and repackaging.
  • , Non-sterile unit dose packaging Cart tray kit preparation Handling non-sterile hazardous medications Proper waste or disposal Maintains required record-keeping for controlled substances Delivers supplies to the patient unit and ancillary areas Answers telephone responds to questions problems Checks stock on a regular basis to identify reorder outdated stock ensures that stock is maintained in accordance with manufacturer requirements Performs other functions as required assigned Qualifications High school diploma GED Pharmacy Tech State NM Certified Pharmacy Technician PTCB OR Certified Pharmacy Technicians NHA
