Job Summary:
Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Product Specialist to join our sales team in High Point, North Carolina. As a product specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting our vehicles to potential buyers. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a salary-based compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Thoroughly educate customers on the features and benefits of our vehicles.
• Engage in conversation with potential buyers to gain a full understanding of their needs and desires.
• Analyze vehicle inventory to identify vehicles that align with the customer's needs.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential buyers.
• Customize vehicle options and present pricing information accurately.
• Assist customers in test driving vehicles and answer any questions they may have.
• Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, features, and accessories.
• Collaborate with the sales team to provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth sales process.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
• Attend training sessions and workshops provided by the dealership or manufacturers to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of automotive technology and features.
• Proficiency in computer skills for managing customer information and completing sales transactions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or automotive technology is a plus.
