    Summary of Job Duties:
    Under general direction, acts as a key contact for employees & supervisors and provides support involving employee compensation processes.

    Works in tandem with the other HR staff to accomplish departmental goals and to provide support for the associate director, director, and other staff as required.

    The position reports to the HR Compliance and Compensation Manager and is governed by state and federal laws and institutional policy.



    Qualifications:

    Qualifications:


    The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in HR, business admin or related field; plus 2 years of related experience.

    Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for part of these requirements.

    Experience with Workday or other HCM platform

    Essential Job Duties:
    Monitor, process, and audit employee compensation including leave accruals and usage and employee life cycle events.
    Prepare, monitor, and analyze compensation and classification reports.
    Provide support to managers through training and communication regarding compensation and classification.

    Serve as a liaison with campus and outside agency stakeholders regarding state and federal laws and regulations to include concurrent employment requirements.

    Responsible for maintaining a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to foster teamwork and by providing leadership to subordinates.

    Requires consistent on-time attendance.
