    Job Summary

    The Director of Alumni and Annual Giving Programming is a key member of the Alumni and Annual Giving Programming team and Development and Alumni Relations Department, overseeing all alumni relations programming.

    In close partnership with the Assistant Vice President and Senior Director for Alumni and Annual Giving Programming, the Director will develop and manage a strategic engagement plan that builds programming to foster compelling lifelong relationships between UT Dallas and its alumni as well as partnering with offices across campus to leverage relationships and programming.

    The Director will provide oversight of the Alumni Association, alumni communications and events and student programming.

    A successful candidate will be an engaged, creative, team-oriented leader with the ability to leverage relationships across generations of alumni, and partner with multiple cohorts.

    Candidates must possess a deep commitment to instilling best practices and fostering a culture that reflects UT Dallas' values.
    Minimum Education and Experience
    Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.
    Preferred Education and Experience

    The ideal candidate will:
    Possess a bachelor's degree and at least five years of higher education or related work experience.

    Experience in overseeing and evaluating collaborations and projects, and in developing strong relations and support among both internal and external constituencies.

    Proven ability to strategically implement programs in support of engagement efforts of various constituencies.
    Management level experience in representing the interests, goals, and mission in higher education.
    Possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time management skills.
    Prefer a candidate who has University of Texas at Dallas experience.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Develop and execute a strategy based on


    CASE
    alumni engagement metrics.

    Provide vision, leadership and oversight of the Alumni Association with goals to increase affinity for current members and increase new membership.

    Work collaboratively with alumni and annual giving team, development and alumni relations department and other campus departments and teams to create new innovative ways to engage alumni and alumni-student connections through events, platforms, and all available channels.

    In collaboration with the senior director of alumni and annual giving programming develop and support plans to move engaged alumni through the donor commitment continuum encouraging participation in annual giving opportunities.

    Engage and educate campus departments on the value of partnership and collaborative opportunities available to improve alumni engagement through current programs, data management, and future programming.

    Facilitate relationships with the student body to foster student engagement, student-alumni connections, and participation associations.
    Assist with the creation and execution of all alumni-focused communications.
    Be an active member of higher education alumni professional networks and stay informed on best practices.
    Manage and oversee alumni and annual giving programming events and student programming.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
