Job Title: Activities Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Activities Aide to join our team at Burlington Health & Rehabilitation Center. As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in developing and carrying out recreational programs, group activities, special entertainment, and holiday events to meet the needs of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and carry out recreational programs, group activities, special entertainment, and holiday events to meet the needs of residents
- Support, encourage, and motivate residents to attend activities
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed
- Accompany residents to special events and trips outside the facility
- Facilitate activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents
- Clean up after each activity and ready for the next
- Assemble, dismantle, and store equipment and supplies used in the recreation program
- Communicate with families as necessary and encourage their involvement
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience and demonstrated interest in working with seniors is preferred
- Ability to work hours/rotation as described above
