Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the CINO will partner with our Management Team, other senior leadership across the firm, and key cross-functional teams to drive innovation and creativity within the firm to promote growth. As we expand our commitments in this space, this leader will focus on identifying and implementing new ideas and technologies which create value for the firm by enhancing customer and employee experiences. Responsible for leading the innovation strategy, this leader also serves as the catalyst for Elliott Davis' innovation initiatives and drives change management across the firm.#LI-EH1

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Developing and implementing an innovation strategy encompassing customer-centric and internal components endorsed by executive leadership
  • Executing initiatives supporting the innovation strategy
  • Aligning initiatives to business goals and setting measurements in the data-driven approach
  • Fostering idea generation, enhancing innovative thinking and driving an innovative work culture throughout the firm
  • Identifying emerging opportunities and technologies
  • Aligning and nurturing cross-functional collaboration, including building strong key relationships and supporting internal stakeholders' efforts
  • Overseeing change management and ensuring effective adoption of initiatives
  • Monitoring project management, including time and budget of all initiatives
  • Developing and defining measurements and short and long-term KPIs for innovation initiatives, as well as monitoring and reporting progress
  • Keeping up to date on industry best practices, competitive services, and opportunities for innovation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Minimum 15 years experience in project management and strategy development
  • MBA or MBA equivalent preferred; PMP Certification or Innovation-related certifications a plus
  • Experience within an accounting firm, financial services, or professional services firm preferred
  • Strong knowledge of innovative technology solutions and best practices, as well as industry benchmarks
  • Experience with risk mitigation
  • Outstanding leadership and communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, impeccable business ethics, and a proven track record of delivering business results.
  • Demonstrated track record in making informed decisions that demonstrate a broader scope of contextual and business understanding
  • Experience in leading groups and companies through change management
  • Strong sense of EQ and ability to strategically persuade and influence throughout an organization
  • Experience in strategic planning and collaboration for long-term growth initiatives.
  • Balanced blend of analytical, strategic, practical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills in all media formats.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Proactively collaborates with internal partners to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire a team
