    In the role of Senior Materials Manager based in the Tarpon Springs area, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the employer's business goals, which involves creating an agile end-to-end environment from order initiation to final shipment. You will lead the onsite Materials Team, fostering high performance and cultivating a culture of continual improvement.

    Your duties will include:

    • Spearheading the development and management of the planning, procurement, receiving, warehouse, and shipping functions.
    • Collaborating with strategic sourcing to optimize inventory and service levels.
    • Establishing and aligning site objectives, cultivating a culture of systemic thinking.
    • Driving inventory cost savings initiatives and enhancing warehouse processes to optimize customer delivery.
    • Ensuring adherence to factory planning standards and strategies.

    The ideal candidate should possess:

    • A Bachelor's degree (an MBA is preferable) in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management.
    • Over 5 years of experience in materials planning and procurement within an international manufacturing and supply chain context.
    • Extensive background in inventory management, logistics, demand planning, and scheduling.
    • Demonstrated leadership experience in procurement and inventory management.
    • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and ERP systems.

    Additionally, advantageous qualifications:

    • track record of KPI enhancement
    • in Lean Manufacturing or 6 Sigma
    • understanding of RCCA and Lean principles, particularly in the context of DMS.
