    A Week in the life of a 2M Electronic Repair Trainer:


    • Provide dynamic teaching & training of U.S
    Navy Mini/Micro-miniature electronic repair and maintenance in support of Navy Combat Systems Capabilities.


    • Conduct dynamic assessment of the sailors' abilities to comply with approved maintenance and repair procedures
    • Provide formal appraisal of performance with recommendations for improvement and methods to maintain technical proficiency.
    • Observe and assess contemporaries during Practice and Certification Teaches per requirements NAVEDTRA 135.
    • Prepare, review, and customizes curriculum lesson plans and instructor guide in support of Mini/Micro-miniature Electronic Repair course of instruction.
    • Support Course Reviews and Curriculum Updates
    • Conduct training gap analysis provides formal feedback and recommendation for Course improvement.
    • Document the training conducted with specifics of the individual areas
    • Responsible for generation of a formal assessment of measure of success via written report.
    • Develop, test, maintain, and deliver moderately complex Navy Combat Systems training programs and related materials
    • Reviews and updates course content and objectives.
    • Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
    • Maintains records of training activities, certifications, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
    • Maintains own certification and current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned
    Job Requirements


    • High School Diploma or combination of education, technical certifications and military experience
    • Qualified Miniature and Microminiature Electronic Repair Technician
    Active Secret clearance At least 5+ years of experience in:

    The required system as either a maintenance technician supervisor or operator supervisor with responsibility for teaching the applicable system or function task to others in a journeyman level training environment At least 1+ years of experience in:


    • Working as an instructor in a Navy Training Environment
    • Curriculum maintenance

    The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000
    Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law
