Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Subsea Controls Engineer to join a well-established subsea engineering business, in a staff position.

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for the company's subsea hardware equipment.

You will be involved from the initial conceptual design stage, through to offering technical advice on installation and commissioning of the control systems.

You will meet with the businesses clients, which are some of the biggest names in the oil industry. And from those meetings help the company to create the best solutions for what the client needs.

Duties:

• Identify and incorporate job specific client requirements into new and existing controls systems.
• Manage department controls documentation and assigned MDRs.
• Create, review, and approve schematics/drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Manage the HMI and mimics for asset/default system configurations and custom client requests.
• Act as lead engineer for controls systems integration onto job specific client vessels.
• Monitor and perform hold point inspections on all builds and reworks of equipment to ensure that the quality is compliant with IPC Class 3 requirements.
• Support all FAT and EFAT testing for controls equipment.
• Design and maintain controls test equipment.
