    Job DescriptionServes as a technical contributor for complex data and analysis work to support the various strategic health initiatives at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

    The Senior Data Analytics Specialist will be a critical thinker and responsible for providing descriptive, diagnostic, inferential, and predictive analytics for various business areas, including but not limited to strategic planning, operations, and performance management, human resources, financial management, supply chain, marketing, or process improvement.

    The analyst position will help carry out the plans of large, complex, and key data analytics programs and projects to support and enhance the mission and strategic objectives of the OSU Wexner Medical Center; execute the initiation, planning, execution, and closing phases of projects involving the integration of multiple data sources, utilization of multiple systems, and collaborative efforts across business unit functions.

    The analyst will be required to effectively communicate critical findings to peers and group leadership and assist in presenting the results to a broader audience if applicable.

    Must possess solid research skills, excel at written and verbal communication, and have proven to manage multiple assignments of various depths and duration.

    Minimum QualificationsBachelors degree in computer science, data analytics, or a relevant field is necessary for this position.
    Minimum of 4 years of reporting and analytics experience in healthcare or a relevant field.
    Must demonstrate understanding of enterprise data warehouse, big data, cloud, BI and analytics, content management, and data management.
    Must display exceptional organizational skills and must be detail-oriented.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent customer relationship skills.
    Ability to lead and produce positive outcomes in a changing, unstructured work environment.
    Ability to communicate changes and solutions with people from various technical and non-technical backgrounds.
    Ability to think strategically with the appropriate level of detail analysis to plan and execute.
    Ability to solve problems and drive issues or projects to conclusions.
    Ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
