    **AECOM** is seeking a **Mid-level Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and/or transportation related projects** for an opening in our Sacramento, CA office. In this role youll have the opportunity to work on flood protection and design of a new off-stream storage dam in Northern California. Due to AECOM success in winning work, a career here will continually offer opportunities on a wide variety of projects.

    **Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**

    + ?Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities

    + Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.

    + Collaborate with teams for analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.

    + Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Requirements:**

    + Bachelors degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    + California Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + Experience with Caltrans or other DOT transportation projects

    + Masters degree in civil engineering

    + Experience with CADD i.e. Civil 3D and Microstation Open Roads

    + Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 modeling software preferred

    **Additional Information**

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90, $135,
