Job summary
Serves as primary Bank representative overseeing the development and implementation of security crisis policies and procedures operational playbooks physical security threat detection initial triage incident response timely accurate security crisis messaging capabilities of the Global Security Operations Center GSOC Ensures Bank leadership priorities are consistently reflected in the daily operations of the Center staffed by contracted security personnel Oversees optimizes performance of contracted staff ensuring alignment with Banks strategic security objectives fostering proactive security posture across enterprise Lead activities 247 contract security personnel assigned to Global Security Operations Center Monitor their performance adherence to protocols compliance with contractual obligations to maximize value effectiveness In conjunction with Crisis Management lead planning coordinating executing crisis response efforts for physical security incidents across Banks footprint Develop implement strategic goals policies procedures processes enhance situational awareness physical security threat detection and response capabilities Drive continuous improvement initiatives ensure proactive physical intelligence monitoring operations Serve senior decision-maker during critical incidents as it relates to initial triage coordination timely reporting leadership escalation Lead daily operational briefings Corporate Security leadership Protective Intelligence team Coordinate after-action reviews critical incidents implement improvements needed Assess implement physical systems software solutions enhance efficiency effectiveness operations Establish KPIs playbooks for GSOC functions Provide regular reporting Corporate Security on incident trends response times contract workforce performance Regularly coordinate lead internal tabletop exercises TTX for GSOC Protective Intelligence staff ensure operational readiness effective communication multiple M&T Bank corporate functions event critical securement Assist Administrative Operations Business Analytics team budgetary planning data incident reporting Corporate Security Department Provide thought leadership emergency preparedness while continuously developing expertise in GSOC technology industry best practices Coordinate activities among M&T Bank Corporate contracted supervisors ensured trained in procedure escalation standards compliance requirements Lead liaison efforts among M&T Bank Crisis Management Business Continuity seamless communication alignment on priorities responses management Serve liaison external law enforcement partners information sharing trend analysis Exercise usual authority concerning staffing promotions terminations Understand adhere Company risk regulatory standards according Risk Appetite Design maintain enhance internal controls mitigate ongoing basis Promote environment supports culture belonging reflects M&T brand Maintain internal control including timely implementation audit points issues raised external regulators applicable Complete other related duties assigned
Scope Responsibilities: The jobholder member Banks Risk Management & Intelligence Operations team within Corporate This role requires comprehensive experience expertise managing 24/7 Incident Response or Physical Secruity Ops under supervision Implement testing training oerations programs Document lessons learned support generation As required Occasional travel event complete due align protocols Regularly coordinates leads intemal table top exersises TTX ocurred Supervisors comitted oversight responsibilities aggregated employee informtion Maintains a level commensurate employees at all time manages others which may include direct supervisory responsibility over one or more subordinates Responsible fopr performing function above assignd Stop supervisoing when delegated responsiblities shift occurens.
