Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor with a deep understanding of building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should excel in organization, time management, natural leadership, and possess exceptional communication skills along with keen attention to detail.

To thrive in this role, maintenance supervisors must demonstrate adept problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with a comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, cleaning protocols, and team management.

Preferred candidates will exhibit proficiency in building and equipment maintenance practices, coupled with a thorough comprehension of health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

Regular inspection of sites to identify maintenance requirements
Creation of weekly maintenance schedules and delegation of tasks based on workload forecasts
Recruitment, supervision, and training of workers
Coordination of daily cleaning and maintenance operations
Supervision of all repairs to ensure timely completion
Management of inventory and equipment maintenance, including proper storage
Adherence to health and safety regulations on-site
Execution of preventative maintenance tasks
Follow-up on all maintenance and repair activities
Conducting scheduled safety inspections
Development of strategies to meet workload requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (highly beneficial)
Minimum of 5 years experience as a maintenance supervisor (mandatory)
Proficient in building trades, cleaning procedures, and maintenance practices
Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations
Sound budgeting and performance management capabilities
Strong organizational and leadership qualities
Exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in computer skills including email, MS Office, and related tools
Excellent time management
Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
