‍ NICU Speech Language Pathologist - Margate, FL

Location: Margate, FL 33063
Salary: $ $48.93/hr based on experience

Join Our Dedicated Team: A highly respected 289-bed medical center, is seeking a passionate NICU Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and enhancing the lives of infants with communication, cognitive, and swallowing impairments.

Role and Responsibilities:

Conduct subjective assessments of speech and language during spontaneous conversations.
Administer objective tests to evaluate communication strengths and weaknesses.
Develop and implement tailored treatment programs to improve patient communication abilities.
Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient placement and care.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology.
Active Speech Pathologist licensure.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
Minimum of one year of NICU SLP experience necessary.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position; days with rotating weekends.
