    You will be working alongside the VP of Preconstruction to produce estimates on ground up multifamily projects across multiple States.

    Client Details

    The client is continually growing, starting out with operations in Tennessee and now working across 6 States.

    They retain ownership of the projects they develop and build and have built a vast network of assets. They have plans to increase their company and venture into 2 further States.

    Description

    As the Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for:

    • Producing formatted conceptual and detail take-0ffs for all divisions
    • Preparing material lists for projects
    • Auditing full estimates for contract alignment
    • Ensuring estimates comply with local municipality regulations
    • Confirming selections for projects match with the owner's specifications
    • Confirming final contracts, POs and Work Orders
    • Assisting with pricing during the design phase
    • Preparing and updating the subcontractor list, identifying new subcontractors as necessary
    • Preparing bid packages to send to subcontractors and issuing bid invitations
    • Analyzing scope subcontractor and vendor bids
    • Leading conferences and attending job sites as required
    • Assisting with budgets and resolving issues
    • Working with the project teams to go through the estimates on the projects
    • Managing preconstruction planning with project teams

    Profile

    To be considered, you must have the following:

    • A minimum of 4 years estimating or project management experience
    • 4 year college degree in a construction related field
    • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints
    • Excellent computer skills and experience in using construction and bidding software packages
    • Excellent communication skills
