    Description
    We are looking for a payroll assistant to join a busy accounting company in Newport Beach. You will work alongside a group of professionals to compile and record employee times and payroll data; compute employees' time worked, production, and commissions. This is a temp-to-hire position with the potential to become a permanent employee.

    Essential Duties:
    • Enter payroll data into the payroll system.
    • Review, edit, and calculate hours of work, timecards, and timesheets.
    • Contact various department supervisors for any missed times, corrections, etc.
    • Review and enter earnings into the payroll system.
    • Other administrative duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma /GED. Associate degree is a plus.
    • 2 to 3 years of Payroll or Accounting experience.
    • ADP Payroll software experience is a PLUS.
    • Excel software experience is a must/highly preferred.
    Perks:

    • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST, with overtime during payroll weeks.
