    Project Architect

    Minneapolis, MN | Direct Hire | $80K – $110k

    Our client, a Twin Cities multidiscipline firm with architectural, engineering, and environmental services, is seeking to add a Project Architect to their growing architectural team. As a Project Architect, you will collaborate with a team on the design of institutional and civic buildings under the guidance of a Senior Architect or Project Manager.


    Responsibilities of the Project Architect:

    • Develop conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction document drawings
    • Assist with preparing specifications
    • Participate in all phases of design and construction
    • Perform quality reviews
    • Review building codes
    • Review shop drawings, material samples, and documents
    • Interfaces with clients and engineering
    • Mentors more junior staff
    • Conduct site and facility verification and assist in construction administration as needed.

    Qualifications of the Project Architect:

    • Professional Degree in Architecture; Licensed or on track to be licensed is MN.
    • 5+ years of professional architectural experience
    • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
    • Knowledge of Sketch-Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
    • Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Effective written and oral communication skills for reports and team meetings.
