    Urology Physician Permanent Position

    Location:

    $19.50 per hour (competitive based on experience)

    Position Overview:


    Berkshire Health System is seeking a dedicated and experienced Urology Physician to join its established hospital-based urology team in Pittsfield, MA.

    This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a qualified professional committed to delivering exceptional patient care within a respected community health system serving the Berkshires region.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient urology care to adult patients, addressing a broad spectrum of urologic conditions.
    Collaborate closely with a team of five on-site urologists and multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient management.
    Utilize onsite laboratory and radiology services for diagnostic purposes, supporting prompt and accurate assessment.
    Perform and support hospital-based urological procedures and perioperative care as needed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
    Document all patient interactions accurately and thoroughly using the Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
    Follow Berkshire Health System s clinical protocols, quality standards, and best practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
    Provide continuity of care throughout inpatient stays, especially in situations where Advanced Practice Providers transition out of their roles.
    Participate actively in inpatient rounding, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary discussions to develop individualized patient care plans.


    Qualifications:
    Medical degree from an accredited institution.
    Completion of a urology residency program and board certification in urology.
    Valid BLS certification.
    Proven experience or interest in hospital-based urology practice is preferred.
    Strong documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
