    We have an incredible opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Fresno, CA area to provide services in a school setting. In this role you will be evaluating and providing appropriate occupational therapy services to assigned children. This person will participate in planning meetings in terms of children's needs; communicate appropriately to families and other professional staff of assigned children.

    Schedule will depend on the school selected.

    Location of positions: Fresno CA

    In this role, you will:

    • Implement activity therapy goals for facilitation of motor control and developmental skills including upper extremity functioning, fine motor development and sensor-motor/perceptual skills as indicated on assigned children's IEP's and IFSP's.
    • Assess student needs through a variety of formal and informal measures.
    • Develop and implement appropriate strategies for intervention as per child's IEP, or IFSP.
    • Organize and complete written material in a concise and timely manner.
    • Participate in conferences, including parent meetings, as assigned.
    • Maintain a healthy, safe and attractive environment.
    • Maintain a professional manner appropriate to preschool special education.
    • Adhere to specific Brookville Center for Children's Services Program policies and procedures.
    • Attend and participate in supervision and implement recommendations appropriately.
    • Address the special needs of each age group served, child, adolescent, adult and older adult, and assist in making reasonable accommodations for the hearing impaired, physically challenged or any other child that may enter the facility.
    • Respond quickly to child(ren) and/or parent/guardian's request, refers to appropriate member of the care team, if necessary, and informs supervisor of actions taken.
    • Promote positive co-worker relationships, teamwork and cooperation.

    Minimum Requirements:

    · Valid California State License to practice Occupational Therapy

    · Valid Driver's License.

    · Current CPR/BLS Card

    · Current Negative TB Result

    · High School Diploma

    · Will need to successfully pass a background check, and drug test.

    · Will require fingerprinting.

    Preferred skills:

    · Successful experience in planning and providing occupational therapy services to children in a

    medical or educational setting.
