    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented SAP Basis Administrator to join our team at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD
    This individual will provide support by monitoring interface connections, patching/ upgrading SAP software, system migrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring systems are operating at optimal performance
    Specifically, we are looking for someone that can work independently with distributed teams to ensure the team remains accountable to the work that needs to be accomplished

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain knowledge of SAP roadmap and emerging technologies impacting SAP Basis, make recommendations to improve efficiency, throughput, capabilities and/or capacity
    • Drive operational excellence, provide level III incident and problem management, including resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex SAP Basis and database issues
    • Review current SAP application landscape, continually assess environment requirements aligned with product team roadmaps, lead build (or decommissioning) of SAP instance
    • Perform all daily operations of SAP Basis management for all SAP components
    • Install, configure, and maintain all SAP system Basis components
    • Perform SAP system administration providing insight needed to optimize and maintain the overall SAP reliability, availability, and performance
    • Responsible for supporting and administering on-premises hosted SAP Business Suite systems, executing SAP Upgrades, Cloud migrations
    Experience on Govt
    Cloud and having OS/DB migration experience is a plus along with HANA and S/4 HANA.

    Work on Application Support and Project Delivery on the following areas:


    • SAP Performance Monitoring
    • SAP Performance Tuning
    • Solution Manager 7.2 configuration and utilization
    • SAP Transport Management
    • SAP System copy, refresh, license management
    • Security parameter management
    • SAP Traces and logs
    • Workload balancing
    • SAP Correction
    • SAP Job maintenance
    • SAP Kernel maintenance
    • SAP Patch management and applying periodic notes
    • SAP Router Maintenance/Configuration and SAP Solution Manager configuration/support
    • Training system refreshes and regular maintenance/ support
    • Manage end to end resolution of Incidents and determine Root Cause
    • Closely collaborate with 3rd party vendors supporting Infrastructure and other systems connecting to SAP
    • Collaborate closely with Professional Service Provider Team members, Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, Basis Administrators, Application Developers, and Business Process Analysts
    Maintain and enhance process documentation based on lessons learned from execution of Basis tasks Minimum Qualifications:


    • 7 years' experience in SAP BASIS Administration with a proven track record of leadership
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
    • Experience with large scale agile approaches such as SAFe
    • Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS including planning and executing installations and configurations
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
    Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels Preferred Qualifications:


    • SAP certifications in BASIS Administration are highly desirable
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and other government audits
    Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM desired Clearance Requirements:


    • US Citizenship.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; and will be subject to a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only
    Candidates who have recently completed T3 investigations are a plus Physical Requirements:


    • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing/walking/talking, and must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
    • Occasionally move about inside the office or work location.
    • Frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers
    • Must be able to lift and move hardware weighing up to 50 pounds
    The projected compensation range for this position is $110,800-$185,500
    There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories
