    40 hours per week


    Shift Schedule:
    Day rotational schedule; shifts vary (7:00am–3:30pm, 8:00am–4:30pm, 9:00am–5:30pm, or 7:00am–11:30pm) with overnight call

    Key Qualifications / Job Requirements


    Experience:
    Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; must be competent in diagnostic X-Ray/radiography


    Education:
    Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent


    Licensure:
    NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registration


    Certifications:
    ARRT (R) required; BLS (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) required


    Preferred:
    ARRT (CT) registration or CT certification


    Skills:
    CT imaging, cross-sectional anatomy, contrast administration, PACS/RIS operation, attention to detail, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, reliability


    Language:
    English (read, write, speak)

    Primary Responsibilities

    Perform CT examinations and diagnostic X-Ray procedures following physician orders and established CT/radiology protocols

    Prepare and educate patients for CT and radiography procedures; obtain informed consent and ensure patient comfort and safety

    Administer contrast agents per facility policy for injection-registered technologists and monitor patients for adverse reactions

    Follow radiation safety (ALARA) and infection control practices to protect patients, staff, and self

    Operate CT scanners, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems (RIS); ensure accurate documentation and procedure coding

    Communicate findings and collaborate with radiologists, referring providers, and the multidisciplinary hospital team to support patient care

    Adhere to HIPAA, hospital policies, and safety guidelines; report incidents and contribute to quality improvement in the imaging department

    Perform additional duties as needed to support the radiology department and hospital imaging operations
