We are currently seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a contract position, providing virtual services to schools in California.

    Position Overview: As a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to support students' communication and language development through teletherapy services. You will work collaboratively with school teams to assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services in a virtual environment. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students across California.

    Location: Remote (California-based)

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills using teleassessment tools.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
    • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students through virtual platforms, addressing a range of communication disorders and challenges.
    • Monitor students' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document therapy sessions and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines.
    • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
    • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and administrators to ensure continuity of services and address any concerns or questions.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
    • Current California state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual or teletherapy setting.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology to deliver services remotely.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to support students' communication and academic success.
