Summary

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Research & Development Group of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.

Duties

• You will gather essential data to evaluate work quality and ensure record accuracy..
• You will represent the activity ensuring that the inspection, inventories, processing and handling of ordnance are conducted in accordance with procedures.
• You will review written quality or inspection procedures for adequacy, and evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of quality/inspection systems..
• You will report adverse trends and deviations from normal manufacturing performance and/or product conformance and quality.
