    Hoist & Crane Service Group is looking for a motivated Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager identifies and manages strategic relationships with potential customers.

    Assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting.

    The Regional Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and will be a critical component in implementing business strategies and quality service to customers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


    Assists in introducing Hoist & Crane Service Group's services by calling on prospective clients with the primary objective of meeting established sales goals, as defined by management.

    Assess market conditions and develop regional sales plans to capitalize on market trends, new industries, etc.
    Compiles regional lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from various sources.
    Travels throughout assigned Region to work with account managers and call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.

    Visits job sites and potential job sites to perform measurements and analysis on client cranes, elevator, and door & dock equipment and make recommendations on equipment use.

    Identifies new account managers and works with existing account managers to develop the qualities needed to be successful in sales
    Helps develop pricing and reviews credit terms/contracts and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
    Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

    Continually travels to existing job sites with account managers to evaluate status and determine if customer has additional needs or if the equipment in use is sufficient.

    Diligently work to build and foster individual relationships and networks that will enhance the reputation of Hoist & Crane Service Group.

    Qualifications


    Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    7+ Years' Service Sales Management Experience
    3+ years of successfully building regional markets
    College Degree or Equivalent
    Prior experience in industrial sales
    Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally
    Computer proficient
    Exceptional Customer Service skills
