Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for food, entertainment, and iconic experiences? MGM Resorts International is looking for a Public Relations Manager to help shape the narrative of our world-renowned destinations.
In this role, you'll generate compelling media coverage across the Food and Beverage vertical, building relationships with top-tier journalists and bringing the MGM Resorts story to life.
The Day-to-dayCultivate and manage relationships with local, national, and international media to drive editorial coverage for MGM Resorts properties.
Craft and pitch dynamic story angles that align with property priorities and trends across hospitality, entertainment, and lifestyle.
Lead media activations, from press trips to photo shoots, film crews, media visits, and influencer experiences.
Write and distribute press materials, media alerts, talking points, and executive interview prep documents.
Represent the PR team in key property meetings, collaborating closely with marketing, social media, and operations teams.
Oversee PR coordinators and specialists—mentoring, managing workloads, and supporting team development.
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to deliver integrated campaigns that break through the noise.
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of prior relevant experience
7+ years of experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or a related field
Proven success leading high-impact PR campaigns and media events.
Deep knowledge of the media landscape, with strong contacts across consumer, lifestyle, and entertainment media.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills—with the ability to turn complex information into engaging content.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with occasional early morning or weekend work.
Familiarity with Las Vegas' tourism and hospitality is a plus.
