Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that parts are electroplated to customers specifications. Ability to read, understand , and follow work order instructions for each job
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, and troubleshooting guides.
• Must be able to follow established processes and procedures, when plating parts on the line.
• Set up plating equipment based on specifications on job order
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities while staying organized and applying logical thinking skills.
• Use computer and basic computer programs as they pertain to job function
• Visual inspection of equipment, structures, or material to identify any problems or errors while reporting issues to the appropriate department. .
• Ability to work individually or as part of a team
• Perform 6S for work area
• Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains a clean work area
• Maintain a high level of performance
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, repetitively
• Ability to use and understand micrometers and calipers
• Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills as well as the ability to thrive in a team environment
