Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Food Runner Busser, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the guest experience In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and tables are maintained impeccably. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Clear and reset tables promptly, maintaining cleanliness and organization to support a smooth dining flow.
- Assist servers with food handling, refilling beverages, and delivering condiments or additional items as needed.
- Support the dining team by bussing tables, removing used dishes, silverware, and glassware to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding special requests or dietary needs to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently.
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Support overall restaurant operations during busy periods by assisting with food preparation or light kitchen duties if required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling, serving techniques, and POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or hotel hospitality environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for providing excellent guest services.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary understanding will support your success in this role.
- Prior experience with bussing or supporting kitchen staff enhances your ability to thrive here.
- A background in hospitality or culinary fields demonstrates your commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
