Summary of Duties: The Operations Assistant/Appraisal Coordinator assists the operations team in providing iServe employees with exemplary customer service for key functions, including, but not limited to, onboarding, training, employee development, communication, and ongoing system support.
Essential Duties:
Operations Assistant
- Maintaining "VAPOR" email inbox with timely and courteous electronic and/or verbal responses to support requests.
- Providing "concierge level" service for new employees, including enabling system access and training for essential technology platforms, including, but not limited to, LendingQB, DocMagic, blend, OnlineEd and Mercury Network.
- Disabling system access upon employee terminations.
- Assisting with the creation and dissemination of training presentations.
- Assisting with the creation and dissemination of company bulletins and announcements.
- Training employees on processes and procedures via webinar, phone, and/or in person as needed.
- Updating and organizing ISRL company Success Central site and shared event calendar.
- Supporting the Appraisal Desk as needed, including appraiser approvals, processing payments, and status updates.
- Participating in, and helping to organize, regular operations team meetings to discuss and develop operational policies and procedures.
Appraisal Coordinator
- Oversee appraisal desk and maintain superior service to branches.
- Review appraisals for quality and completion.
- Interact with appraisal panel/AMCs for requesting revisions.
- Add appraisers to fee panel through approval process.
- Review panel appraisers and validate against investor
- Process payments and follow up on outstanding invoices and send to accounting department.
General Duties
- Present a professional image and demeanor both within the company and externally.
- Maintain necessary knowledge to successfully perform job responsibilities.
- Conduct business in accordance with iServe's/NAD's core values of honesty; integrity, and transparency.
- Act as a role model/leader in achieving organizational results.
- Seek innovative alternatives to performing assigned duties.
- Ability to work effectively, independently, as well as with team members to achieve department growth.

Other Duties:
· Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Support Manager, VP of Mortgage Operations, or executive management.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Some college course work in business or finance preferred.
- Minimum two years' job-related experience.
- Fundamental knowledge of mortgage loans and programs is preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Self-motivated with strong demonstrated common sense/analytical reasoning.
- Ability to read and interpret mortgage documents, as well as company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively to customers and peers.
- Goal oriented and detail minded with exceptional organizational and follow-through abilities.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to gain extensive knowledge in lending technology, including LendingQB, DocMagic, and Maxwell.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and Internet browsers.
