McCrory Construction is looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. If you have a passion for financial accuracy and compliance, and want to work with a leading general contractor, apply today and take the next step in your career.

Reports to: CFO

Job Summary:

McCrory Construction is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a part of our team. The staff accountant will be focused on day-to-day accounting tasks. The staff accountant will also work across the organization and serve as a key team member throughout the lifecycle of our construction projects.

This is a full-time, salaried position based in Columbia, South Carolina.

Job Responsibilities

· Perform AP/AR entry

· Support the payroll and benefits function

· Provide relevant reports and data to our project teams

· Assist the operations team with job cost transactions

· Perform monthly reconciliations

· Maintain fixed asset register

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

· Minimum 3 years in an accounting or related role

· Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities

· Ability to manage and shift priorities to meet day to day operational needs and deadlines.

· Ability to provide excellent customer service and develop internal and external relationships.
