    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Allstate Can, a division of The Ohio Art Company, is hiring set up mechanics on both 1st and second shift. WORK 4 DAYS PER WEEK This position consists of four work days with overtime potential on Fridays.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install and set up production equipment according to specifications
    • Adjust and repair machinery as needed to ensure efficient and safe operation
    • Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment is properly configured to meet production needs
    • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and make necessary repairs
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

    Successful candidates must display a willingness to work overtime hours as needed and possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

    Requirements:

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Set Up Mechanic or similar role
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
    • Experience with hand and power tools
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
