    With a monthly production of just over 22,000,000 lbs., which includes both Hills product and private label production, the plant maintains a stellar safety record as well as a quality first pass release of 99.62%.

    This plant also maintains an outstanding environmental quality record at less than 0.1%.The Quality Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team reporting directly to a corporate Quality Director and indirectly to the Director of Manufacturing.

    This role also provides the opportunity to lead an outstanding teamWhat you will do:

    Develops and implements the site specific Quality Systems and Food Safety Plan including Quality Management strategies, direction, and policies with the goal of protecting the business, reducing variation and waste, and growing the businessEnsures compliance with Colgate/Hills Quality Standards, Local, Governmental, and International Quality and EOHS Regulatory standards and guidelines and will work with all agencies to communicate, address, and resolve any issuesFunctions as a critical member of theSite Strategic Team which supports the plants vision, provides resources to achieve plant strategy andensures decision making processes are consistent with guiding principlesOwns the Cleaning & Sanitization process and environmental performance of the facilityReports critical metrics of Quality systems both internally and externallyIs accountable for the robustness of key Quality Systems including but not limited to Incoming Component & Finished Product Inspection & Release, Validation, Corrective Actions Preventive Actions, Change Control, Internal Audits, Laboratory Management and Documentation ManagementDevelops and implementsthe sites Quality Audit program to ensure conformance with standards, quality-related regulatory requirements, cGMPs, and leads the development and implementation of Continuous Improvementplans to address any internal/external quality or food safety audit findingsCollaborate with AIB, FDA, USDA, Customers, or other agencys during an auditLeading sites consumer satisfaction programs such as consumer complaint tracking and reduction of plant controllable complaintsCoordinates all Performance Management, coaching and feedback activities and provides effective career development and planning for all team membersParticipates in continuous improvement projectswith other plant managers and Corporate QualityPrepares operating budgets for variable and fixed overheads for the Quality TeamRequired QualificationsBachelor's DegreeAt least 8 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, or technical fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/ plant operations environmentAt least 3 years of people management experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Food Science or related fieldValidated experience conducting and facilitating effective Failure Investigations, Corrective and Preventive Actions, Notices of Deviation and management of Change DocumentationDirect experience and active participation in an Audit Inspection by a Regulatory AgencyProficient Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and SPCKnowledge of AIB, SQF, USDA and FSMA regulations.

    Compensation and BenefitsSalary Range $112,000 - $140,000 USDPay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location.

    In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

    Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

    PTO:
    Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

    Paid Sick Leave:
    Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

    Paid Parental Leave:
