Benchmark is seeking a personable, enthusiastic, and dynamic Resident Care Director to work across 4-5 communities in Newton, MA.

The role of the Resident Care Director Role is to oversee the quality of resident care and ensure compliance with all company polices and state regulations.

Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for vacations, sick, etc. and additional support when needed
Communicating with families and friends of residents from assigned communities
Assuring compliance with all resident care related regulations at assigned communities (e.g., medication management)
Documenting and providing accurate record-keeping, as appropriate
Demonstrating personal/resident safety methods and procedures at assigned communities
Assessment of residents and prospective residents
Representing Benchmark Senior Living with pride and knowledge so as to educate outside groups and organizations


Requirements:
Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a care setting; Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice setting required
Certified in Gerontology through the American Nurses Credentialing Association preferred but not required
Knowledge of Dementia care
