    Demand plan new orders based on current capacity considering lead times, customer need dates but ultimately driven by earliest available slot
    Reviews orders delayed in Project Execution (due to customer approval delays/changes etc.) and realign to suitable dates considering customer need, capacity and any associated constraints
    Reviews order lines during the pre-production phase for existing parts, attends design reviews for new released parts and reviews BOM/ build/test requirements to identify risk
    Understands customer's critical need dates and priorities loading the plan inline with that where possible working within business constraints and capacity
    Handling impact to customer changes or cancellations reviewing stranded materials, labor etc. to minimize impact to inventory
    Identifying items for potential swap items in schedule to support customer critical deliveries
    Liaising with Operations team on optimal batch sizes
    Monitors project schedules and key milestones
    Under guidance from the Project Managers, conveys delivery scenarios and options directly to the customer on what the business can/cannot achieve to layout the best plan for all stakeholders
    Based on feedback from Planning & Operations, conveys Operational limitations based on volume, constraints, complexity etc. to Projects Team to discuss with customer to find optimal solution
    Report accurate information within the ERP system in a timely fashion
    Work with Demand Coordinator to understand Orders forecast/strategic projects and Project Management & Operational team to develop optimal approach through production
    Ensure clean hand over to Operations for upcoming Planning window
    Attend meetings and present approach, risk, concerns, opportunities to meet needs
    Maintain excellent communication and working relationships with all departments within the company
    Comply with, and assist in the enforcement of all company safety policies
    Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and the Project Manager


    Education and Experience:
    High School Diploma or GED
    Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience
    CPIM Certification preferred
    Min. 3 years experience in supply chain / planning environment or Project Management utilizing MRP


    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Ability to work with changing demands in a fast paced environment
    Advanced understanding of Engineer to Order manufacturing processes
    Strong problem solving skills using data based analytics
    Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers at executive level
    Proficiency in MS Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel
    Ability to work with little to no supervision for extended hours
    Professional appearance and behavior
    Exceptional customer service and support skills.
    Highly organized.
    Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals.
