    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their team in Kansas City, MO. As the Preconstruction Manager, you will be expected to collaborate closely with the preconstruction and estimating team. Your focus will be on mechanical design projects, specifically involving HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. These projects will predominantly cater to large commercial entities, healthcare facilities, and government sectors. A significant part of your role will involve detailed analysis of design documents. In partnership with the estimating team, you will be responsible for formulating both cost and conceptual estimates. Additionally, you will contribute to the planning of budgets. Your role will require you to participate in daily and weekly construction coordination meetings. Furthermore, you will be expected to engage with clients to foster business development. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, team collaboration, and client interaction.

    • PE License Experience working on/managing design-build projects
    • BS degree in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • 6-8 years of experience with mechanical design specifically with HVAC, piping, or plumbing systems
