Job summary
We are hiring a medical assistant for our dermatology department. As a medical assistant you will assist in surgeries and treatment procedures collect patient health care data document care provided facilitate reimbursement of services maintain an office environment promote patient wellness provide patient education communicate effectively with patients coworkers and others.Responsibilities
- Assist in surgeries and treatment procedures.
- Collect pertinent patient health care data diagnostic testing treatments review medical records confer with physician/mid-level providers to ensure patient needs are met.
- May include general office duties such as obtaining updating patient demographic insurance information accepting payment co pays scheduling coordinating multiple appointment creating lab orders.
