    cares for a variety of adult patients and conditions who require monitoring but does not warrant care in the Intensive Care Unit.

    Many of our patients require continuous monitoring and complex 24-hour care while working with specialized equipment in a fast-paced environment requiring highly

    . The unit cares for patients with complications from chronic diseases such as diabetes, to

    post-op orthopedic


    patients, evaluation of those with cardiac changes, providing life saving interventions, collaborating with other specialties, and educating patients and family members.

    Qualifications:

    Education:

    Minimum

    Associate Degree

    Degree from accredited academic nursing program preferred

    Registered Nurse-NM
    State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License Academic Preparation:

    BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire.
