JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Summer Internship Program in corporate communications will engage you in a wide variety of public relations, analyst and influencer relations, and internal (employee) communications initiatives. This includes supporting new product announcements, promoting the availability of industry reports, and showcasing our various cultural, DE&I, and employee-oriented programs.

Responsibilities:

Public Relations
Support PR activities and opportunities tied to media relations
Join weekly PR calls with our agency to learn about media outreach and opportunities
Conduct daily aggregation of news coverage and monitor Commvault mentions
Update PR metrics for reporting purposes
Analyst/Influencer Relations
Assist as needed on submissions for analyst reports and approval process for amplification
Maintain and update Analyst Reports and Insights SharePoint page
Team with customer marketing to maintain a list of reference customers who have use cases that are ideal for MQ, Wave, and MarketScape
Internal (Employee) Communications
Create content for our weekly all-employee newsletter
Write blogs for company intranet site, highlighting strategic business and cultural initiatives
Help manage company intranet site
Proofread internal communications
Compile analytics for all internal communications channels

Requirements:

Strong communication skills
Excellent writing and editing skills
Pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field
Experience creating compelling editorial content
Strong project management and organizational skills
Good judgment, diplomatic skills, and ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to effectively manage priorities and work in a self-directed manner
Creative, flexible, motivated, and innovative team player
