Tyto has an opening for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center.

The Modeling and Simulation Engineer will be responsible for developing models and running scenario simulations of adversary threats to US air and space assets.

Their analysis will support NASIC's mission to prevent strategic surprise and mitigate threats to the air and space security enterprise.

A successful candidate will have strong background in using teamwork, collaboration, and communication to successfully accomplish their projects.


Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain digital models of adversary air and space threat systems in accordance with well-established production procedures.
• Develop scenarios, run simulations, conduct data analysts and post-processing, and write analytic reports describing your results.
• Work with cross-functional engineering teams to conduct system analysis activities and create a system of systems representation of interaction between threat models.
• Simulate engagement scenarios with a single or multiple threats and analyze and interpret the results.
• Support business development activities such as conferences, trade shows, and demonstrations.
• Provide technical support for program management and business development activities including proposal writing and customer development.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of modeling and simulation experience. Additional training and years of experiences in lieu of formal education may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Experience coding in MATLAB or C++.
• Experience with data collection, organization, and integration.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.

Highly Desired:

• Experience creating Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) models and working in the Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment (ITASE) environments.
• Experience with Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling software (AFSIM)

Clearances Required:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
