    Understand moderate architectural principals and concepts.
    Maintains knowledge of all applicable codes, safety requirements, and other design standards.
    Actively develops solutions for all project phases under guidance of project leadership.
    Conducts material and product research for project development.
    Oversees and reviews work of supporting architectural team members.
    Coordinates work with multi-discipline teams.
    Researches and tests new products and design approaches. Assists with implementing into projects and design processes.
    Understands the scope of services as outlined in project contract and identifies when/if client requests are out of scope.
    Monitors project deadlines as it relates to deliverables within ones responsibilities.
    Confirms project deliverables with supervisor.
    Asks thoughtful, relevant, and open ended questions to better understand clients needs. Actively listens to develop rapport.
    Communicates regularly with supervisor on work progress.
    Attends and/or participates in jobsite visits, client meetings, and presentations.
    Contact with vendors' representatives to assist in gathering project information.
    Connects locally with relevant networks to build a network of professional connections. Participates in professional organizations.
    Participates in the proposal process as needed and requested by senior staff.
    Understands the importance of project performance and monitoring budgets. Alerts senior staff if a deadline will be missed.
    Interacts professionally both internally and externally.
    Exhibits a balance of self-confidence and humility. Cultivates and gains trust through active listening and being a team player.

    Requirements:
    Proficient in utilizing relevant design software and Microsoft Suite products.
    Ability to communicate design concepts in graphic, written and verbal form.
    3+ years of related experience
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
